So yeah, Supposed to go to DC for Easter. Ofcourse, finalization hasn't happened yet, and they require two weeks notice at work. And it's less than two weeks and they get snitty if the less than two weeks happens even before they put the schedule out. Kind of stupid, really. I'm told when I work sometimes less than a week in advance, but am still required to give two weeks notice in order to tell them when I don't work. Good thing I won't be there forever!
I can't believe spring break is over. There were things I meant to do, projecty things that you know, show my inner creative self. Instead, I ate brownies and slept. And played video games. Homework got done too, but that doesn't count as much. Homework always happens, I can't seem to prevent it. Should've grabbed some entry level job while I had the chance last summer.
And I got nominated for some leadership type thingy. I haven't exactly shown leadership but hey, free dinner I guess. I just feel bad... my list of accomplishments are things I did at IU. That I listed, anyways. I'm not the type of person to keep that list of things I volunteer to do to stick on my resume. I volunteered because I wanted or needed to do it at the time, not for bragging rights. Heck, I didn't even participate in their conversations over class ciriculum even though offered free pizza. I didn't have enough experience with classes at the university to even begin to give an opinion over what they SHOULD do. Granted, IU was different. The open book tests were quite common, but nobody can really memorize some of the PDEs we had for cosmology. Or they could, but I'd call them a nerd.
But Easter's coming up!! That means chocolate bunnies. And possible decorating of easter egg-shaped cookies, which means sugar!
