Just finished reading A Game of Thrones. T'was fun but mildly annoying that after 800-odd pages the story really started moving along only for the bloody thing to end.  May have to pick up Clash of Kings now.

I see Game of Thrones is on telly soon.  I've been meaning to read the books for yonks and may try to squeeze one or two in before it starts. Just in case the series is awful, you understand.  Then I get to complain it's not as good as the books.

God knows I could do with something that isn't Bernard Cornwell.  I can get a steady stream of his books ( Read more... )
