Last night in Aikido I got to teach a 2nd Dan in Aikido. He's from the Aikikai school, and we do Yoshinkai, but still, it was nice to be asked to do it. The fellow himself finds it amazing that we know alot about Aikikai, which is a descendant of the style we do, while he was taught nothing of Yoshinkai, which was the ancestor of his style. I mean, really, it's because we have damn good teachers at our school, unlike some other places I guess, that's why.
On a related subject, my test is going to be a breeze. I wish I had done it months ago, but, well, injuries blow.

To those who have expressed an interest, we are accepting new students in Jodo on September 9th, and again some time in December. The learning curve in Jodo is very steep, so we only allow new students 3-4 times a year. Also new students are being accepted into Iaido in September, I don't really know any more details as I'm not involved in Iaido.
We accept new Aikido students at any time.
