Pain, the end of an era

So, my final physiotherapy assessment and a quick session.  I have full range of movement, even though there is pain associated with some positions.  That's a good sign.  In fact, sonce so many things are looking good, I'm not going back.  We're in agreement that physio has done as much as it can. the remainder is up to me and my body.  It'll take ( Read more... )

Well, in the context of this, an extreme gesture would be the set of joints in a chain set to their outside rotation limit with rotation along the long axis thrown in. So, for example, thrusting one shoulder forward, arm straight out from there and extending through the pinky, so everything is extended and twisted. This puts the muscular system under the most tension and that when I notice it. Aikido calls for stances like that alot.
I got the injury, right side, begginer doing a wrist lock, 2nd control, on me, wrong. So wrong the ligament got torn. I kept training and blew out the left side from overuse since I just did everything with my left rathr than rest and recover.
