it's saturday night and i'm sitting around at my parents' house. we might build a fire, and in a few minutes we're watching "citizen kane." yeahhhhh well, no one ever said i was the coolest girl in town, did they?
my birthday was wonderful. harry potter was WONDERFUL. so hilarious, so exciting, ahhhh. the next day i started thinkin that they did sort of leave out a lot, and kinda focused too much on bare plot and not enough on the little things everyone loves about hogwarts and harry's whole little world, but i guess the movie series is at a point where a lot of the novelties have to hit the back burner to introduce the newer aspects of everything. i may go back and reread goblet of fire over thanksgiving break, just for pleasure's sake, and so i can refresh a little, but am i wrong in saying that there were definitely house-elves in book 4? where the heck did they go!? and why the heck didn't snape or malfoy have more than 1 minute of combined camera time!?! haha wow i am really showing my true nerd colors here. but yeah. let me know if you want to discuss!
anyway, just need to say thank you again to dania and laura for helping to make me feel sooooo special on my birthday. also thanks to dubwa and brian of course, and to the other girls who i love but who don't read this. for a birthday dinner thrown together at 3 pm the-day-of, what a marvelous time. yay.
also, let me just put it this way: i wish i had someone to discuss it all with.
