I'm sitting here in
spk1121's basement chuckling about the inferiority of IE versus Netscape. (I still use IE.) A good laugh was had by all, er, both. Yes, well, on to other business. *hug* <-- that's for
psychogryphon. Sorry you've not been feeling well. I hope the doctor had something useful to say. (I'm sure this may be addressed in your journal.) Thrill-and-a-half weekend plans include Saturday evening service at Holy Cross here at 5pm, followed by a delicious meal lovingly prepared by
spk1121's mom and then a few card games in which I plan to whoop on spk as thoroughly. A movie may also be in order. I'm drawing a blank right now on what's out, but I know there are a handful of movies I'd like to see. Syrianna, one I really wanted to see, is probably out of theaters by now. Hmm. *taps his head muttering "think, think, think," like Pooh*
My wife's plans for the day include visiting an antique jewelry dealer with her
crazyauntd to have one of her grandmother's lockets appraised.
crazyauntd is currently in possession of this locket and wants to know more about its history. Aside from a visit to Antiques Roadshow, this is the best solution. It's an Egyptian-themed locket that's lost it's luster (i.e., unpolished). I believe that grandma inherited the locket and that she wore it frequently and enjoyed this particular piece of jewelry more than most. It will be interesting to learn of its origin.

Well, we've eaten said dinner and it was delish. Time for those card games or a movie. The evening must go on!
