Yesterday’s calorie count was somewhere in the 1300-1400 range. Today’s will be about the same-probably more in the 1200-1300 range.
I found some turkey wraps in the grocery store, and they make a nice 275 calorie meal. My only problem with them is that they have some sort of blue cheese-esque dressing in them, and I can only handle so much blue cheese. I’m bound to get sick of them very quickly, so I hope that I can find some other pre-packaged food item with a similar calorie count.
Yesterday, I also had some cottage cheese and berries but today I’m sticking with the wraps and these multigrain cereal things, which, admittedly, aren’t the best choice on a diet but they are a nice gateway food to healthier eating. Imagine: I was breakfasting on chocolate-filled croissants almost every day for a couple of months. A multi-grain cereal bar is not nearly as healthy as, say, fresh fruit or raw vegetables, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Anyway, I’m slightly irritated by something at the moment so I will cut out the food talk and start a second post.
