I hate the messages that WeightWatchers.com pops up whenever I log my weight. Before, they told me that 4 lbs in one week was unsafe, and now that my rate of weight loss has slowed, they tell me to consider attending meetings because my motivation probably needs a boost. Assholes.
Anyway, I'm down half a pound. It took me two weeks to take that half a pound off, which is why I didn't post last week (my weight was unchanged). I'm actually pleased that I haven't hit a plateau, even though this largely feels like one. But I'm going to increase my exercise a bit this week and just say no to my old nemesis: chicken tikka masala. I've been saving up my weekly points so that I can have Indian but I think I might not be scoring it highly enough. If I eat out less (or eat at chain restaurants that have provided their exact caloric values to the public), then there's a lot less guessing and less margin for error.
On another note, I mentioned before that my clothes have started to feel looser. More specifically, the pants I wore yesterday need to be retired. They're wide-leg khaki dress pants and they were just hanging on me in a very unflattering way. I did the
Jared Fogle with the waistband while I was in the bathroom and saw that I had several inches of loose fabric (I haven't actually lost several inches around my waist--damn pants were probably already on the unnecessarily-large-but-they-feel-so-great-when-I-feel-especially-fat side that I still wore them).
Anyway, that's 20.5 and counting.
