working for the accounting department gives me the chance to snoop around the expenses of the big wigs within the company. some of the reimbursable items just absolutely makes no fiscal sense whatsoever!
case in point: spending $1,100 on a return flight from toronto to ottawa.
well, fuck, that could've paid for a good chunk of my tuition this semester. i also could've gone to ottawa and back for a mere $150 (give or take)! moreover, imagine how many mouths that will feed in the third world?
it's extremely unnerving to find people throwing away money like that. pisses me the fuck right off.
