Woo, it's been a week

So I'm trying to update this thing weekly; I wanted to do it almost every-other-day but that didn't happen.
Anyways to continue with last week's splurge, I don't really remember where I left off so I might be scatterbrained.

Ok so might? Pfft that. Will be. Guaranteed.

Back in October before I quit Devilbound Trading Company, I took a road trip back "home" to Alabama. I hadn't seen my parents in months and it was starting to take its toll on me, especially since the holidays were approaching. I had 6 days off of work, so what the hell (then was the start of my hours being cut). When I was there, I accumulated a kitty; he was born in the garage in July and Brian and I saw the litter when we were there to get my belongings before he deployed. Dearest Lucky was the kitten with the most spunk, so of course Brian picked him out of the litter and liked him. Well, my parents saved Lucky from the concrete stairs (hence "Lucky") and kept him for Brian. So I fetched said kitty during my trip. He's my ninja. I swear it's weird living with a cat now; not only am I highly allergic, but it's funny to see how he acts compared to Hamlet. He's seriously a ninja: he climbed my curtains the first night I had him home in Texas. And he can jump from the top of the couch to the window sill (about 6 feet across the room). And he'll meow at you to pet or feed him. Silly cat.

Oh and I have braces. Yay. No more gingivitis or crooked teeth. I caved in and got them in January so the Army could pay for something at least (they don't pay for braces after your 23rd birthday because they are considered "cosmetic" after that. Bleck.) They're going ok so far; the orthodontist said I'll have them for about 18-24 months or sooner, depending how I take care of my teeth and how they react. I had an appointment about two weeks ago and he was shocked. So I hope I get them off sooner than 18 months!

I have two tattoos since this summer...got one on my leg and this past Friday I got my butterfly one on my left foot. It itches. Blargh.

That's all I got for now. Squee!
