1) Lovely Complex
I am so in love with this manga. I'm a sucker for shoujo even though it pisses me off to high heaven, but this manga doesn't do that. There are moments where I think they're stupid but it's not just on the part of the girl, and they both really are stupid. It's just cute and awesome and speaks to me on a level very very few other series do. Their problems are realistic, their personalities are realistic, and it just feels like I really am peeking into these two kids' worlds. And their world fills me with squee and bubbles even when it makes me want to cry.

2) Syaoran/Sakura
My OTP. Like, true OTP. They will never not make me happy, and they weren't my first couple to ship but they're just so perfect and I don' care that they're 12. ...Or 15ish in TRC. >.>
I think they just work. And gosh I am jealous. Both them and Ootani and Koizumi never lose who they are when they get together. In most things it becomes about the couple and not about the people, but these two still retain their own personalities and wants while including the partner and I love that.
Also? THEY ARE CUTE.
3) Shy girls
I'm shy myself, so I usually gravitate towards the shy girls. They're kinda like underdogs in most shows (especially Western ones where it's seen as a Bad Thing) so I want them to be happy. But I also like ones like Hinata and Mia who don't want to change who they are, but are trying to come out of their shells.
4) Hot cocoa
The best drink in the world. <3 Warm and smooth and it feels so great on cold days~
5) Japan
I'm finally here~ I've wanted to come since I was younger, and then it turned into otaku reasons, and then it became culture/language reasons again. I really do like it here, and it's not so very different or special, but it is awesome. Just being somewhere different is a great feeling.
Now if only I wasn't still illiterate... -_-x
I also went out with the first year teachers this weekend, and it was fun! We went to Kamichou and Kasumi and Kinosaki Onsen, and we ate nothing but crab. I've never eaten crab before, but it was good. Just... Crab enkai, ugh. I could barely move, and then we had breakfast and lunch the next day too and they could still eat pudding and ice cream and I just kinda was in awe.
I will have a better write up later, though.
