Again, they have hitched an unfair ride onto someone's sudden success. The first that I know of is Guy Sebastian, then it's that Fiji golfer (whose name remains a child very good at hide and seek in my brain) and now... Ms Monica Pang, first runner up for the Miss America pageant.

Why do they put on such emphasis on status and world rankings, when what they should be doing is to improve the dismal standards of their education?
