Gau,
A lot of things have changed.
Raikou paused and re-read those words, pressing his lips together. What was he trying to say? Closing his eyes, he let his quill fall to the side. A multitude of feelings filled him as soon as he focused on the Gau in his memories.
"G-Gau..."
Raikou remembered choking on the boy's name as he watched Gau fight for his life in the hospital. He had been the cause of that. And, yet, Gau had forgiven him. The boy was even acting like everything was back to normal between them.
It's not.
Running his fingers through his pink hair, the Samurai glanced at the Hufflepuff entrance. Even though he had been a Gryffindor, he found more comfort in being near this House. Perhaps that was because he was here.
Setting the quill back on the page, Raikou drew a deep breath.
You are my family. Keep safe.
-Raikou
Folding the letter, he got up and whispered the password to the Hufflepuff Commonroom. Stepping inside, he looked around curiously.
It's warm.
He had to stop himself from collapsing into one of the chairs. Letter in hand, he climbed up to the Boy's Dormitory and sought out Gau's bed.
