It took Orihime a few minutes to stop staring at, well... everything! The decorations were wonderful, the music was spookily festive and the food looked (and tasted) amazing! Terrifyingly amazing!

Because Halloween demanded it she'd come dressed as a ghost. This meant, of course, a sheet over her head charmed to be transluscent and flutter omniously. It also meant she was having a little difficulty seeing. And therefore getting around.

She laughed outright as she crashed into someone near the punch table, pulling the sheet over her head to apologise properly. "I'm not usually this clumsy, I promise!"

The food did indeed look quite wonderful! Though she could not sample it herself, Botan had found herself drawn to admiring the wonderful details that had gone into such a lovely Ball. She had truly missed the Ball's thrown at Hogwarts in all her time away. They were always quite the time and so very memorable.

Magically clad in her old student uniform, from when she was a student, instead of her normal kimono dress, she had even dressed up. As many had gazed at her in surprise, possibly unsure that a ghost could even change their appearance to such a state, she had claimed it a successful costume. Glancing away from the table full of snacks, Botan felt someone's eyes upon her and tried to locate the source only to feel someone passing right through her and bumping into the table.

"Oh, my!",she exclaimed, a hand to her mouth in surprise. She gently turned, floating out of the way to get a better look at who had fallen. "Are you alright?"

Orihime gave a squeal at the unexpected cold as she passed through the ghost.

"I-I-I'm alright!" she managed, breathless in both shock and laughter. It took her a few moments to recognise Botan in the uniform. "You're dressed up too! You look wonderful, Botan-san!"

Botan laughed, taking a moment to respond in her native tongue as she floated about.

"Aa yokatta (What a relief), Orihime-san.",she chirped, giving a short bow. She adjusted her tie, as she stood back up. "Oh, yes~ This is what our uniforms looked like back when I was a student."

“Ah!” There is someone who is trying to win the costume contest!” Eagle exclaimed before politely stepping out of the young lady’s way… before in her blinded state she ran into him as she had the person at the punch table.

“It is a very unique idea to charm your outfit like that.” Added with a small laugh, “But maybe you should add eyeholes or something?”

"Oh- really, you think so?" The edge of the sheet came up so Orihime could figure out who it was that had given her the compliment. "Thank you, Eagle-kun! I tried really hard this year." She beamed.

"I wasn't sure- ghosts don't have eyeholes, do they?" They had actual eyes instead...

A gentle easy laugh at that line of reasoning. It was a very cute notion… however,

“That is true, but unless you want to turn into an actual ghost you might need to make a few concessions for your own comfort.”

Ataru came in dressed as a kuroko. He had this awesome will-o-wisp prop that was charmed to look like real fire. He had his hood down, but somehow had little trouble navigating. It looked like Orihime had some trouble seeing, though.

"Do you need help?" Ataru asked, offering to guide her around.

"That would be very kind of you..." Orihime replied with a smile. She stared at Ataru for a few moments, unable to recognise him with the mask on. "Ninja-san!" She giggled. "I'll feel much safer with you around to look after me."

He was able to recognize Orihime under her sheet. He put a hand on her shoulder to help guide her around.

"I'm dressed as a kuroko," he said casually."I'm glad to be of service." He shook the will-o-wisp prop with the hand that wasn't on the girl.

"So, where do you want to go?" he asked."Ghost-san?"
He started to giggle a bit after that.
