Karrin wasn't sure if she was happy or not to see another student in her current state. It was hard to communicate. At first she hoped that the other girl would ignore her but that was not to be the case.
She pulled over her notepad and mirror and quickly jotted out a message:
.gninroM .loohcs eht dnuora gniog si revetahw yb detceffa neeb ev'I ees nac uoy sA .sdrawkcab klat dna etirw ylno nac I .em htiw reab ll'uoy epoh I oS

Karrin let her read that while she started composing another message:
.nirraK m'I
She then held her hand out and shook the other girls.

She shook hands only for a few moments before she couldn't resist talking any more. Her head tilted the other way and she pointed toward Karrin as she talked about something completely different. "I love that shade of blue... there's so many kids here with interesting hair colors like that." She pouted and took another nibble of her sandwich as she looked away while commenting quietly. "I'm kinda jealous."
Another moment later she shrugged and looked back to Karrin, and seemed to recall the other girl's predicament. "That's a very odd thing to have to deal with. What's it sound like when you talk?"

By this time Karrin had picked up another sandwich and was snacking on it thoughtfully. She really needed to find an easier way to communicate. When Rinoa asked what she sounded like Karrin sighed, she REALLY disliked hearing herself TALK backwards. Frowning slightly she decided it was okay if it was short, "siht ekiL" It was much like listening to a recording played backwards.
