Karrin hated life right now. She supposed it was lucky that the Great Hall was somewhat stable right now. The large tables had been replaced with picnic blankets and the interior was no longer that of a medieval castle but of a field of grassy plains and flowers. She could hear crickets chirping and birds singing. Karrin wondered if perhaps this was the calmest place in the castle.
"em esirprus t'ndluow tI," she muttered in her backwards speech. It had been a few days since the whole incident and it was scary how used to it she was getting. The strangest part to her was the fact that her hair and eye color had switched places for some reason, giving her blue hair and blonde eyes. She'd been avoiding mirrors for that very reason. She'd also started carrying around a hand-mirror and a notebook in order to write messages to people. For whatever reason it was easier to read backwards than to try and interpret her garbled tongue.
She just sighed, stretched out on the picnic blanket and munching on a sandwich. A girl had to eat after all. Karrin watched the archway just a few paces away for any students or professors that might walk in. She didn't want them to accidentally fall into the large crevice that was separating the picnic area from the entrance to the Hall.
