Kanda had been up for a while, as he walked to the common room after a good morning meditation as the next thing he notices there are brightly coloured feathers everywhere.

His eye twitched slightly at the sight, wondering what on earth had happened to get this place in such a mess and a lot of feathers at the same time. Looking around to find the source of all these feathers he spotted a girl, he should have known it might of been a girl with the brightly coloured feathers as he coughed slightly, the tone of his voice sounded not amused as he spoke. "What the hell were you doing?"

Anise jumped a littled as someone spoke behind her, and immediately turned around to face the owner of the voice. Oh, it's just Kanda. Still, how was she going to explain this? "I, um... It was an accident, I swear! I was just doing my homework and... mixed a few spells by accident?" she explained, letting out a nervous giggle.

The twitch just wouldn't go away as his hand slightly went to his sword Mugen "You were doing homework...WHAT HELL KIND OF SPELL ENDS UP WITH FEATHERS FILLING HALF THE ROOM!" he had officially lost his temper at the feathers and some had ended up in his hair as he brushed them out with his free hand the other held up Mugen, "This is your fault so you best do something about them."

Anise jumped a little when the older boy suddenly yelled, and she motioned hastily for him to quiet down. "Shh, do you want to wake everyone up?" she muttered, unaffected by his anger. "And what do you think I'm trying to do? These things seem to be resistant to whatever magic I throw at them!"

It was no surprise that Kyoya had fallen asleep in one of the corners of the common room completely unnoticed. This was becoming increasingly common these days, with his late-into-the-night study sessions.

Usually, the banter of his other house-mates getting ready for breakfast and classes would wake him up just in time to join them. Fortunately for him, today was a Saturday, so he didn't expect to be woken up prematurely for any reason other than someone telling him to get his ass into bed. Unfortunately for him, someone had decided to fiddle with their magics this particular morning.

He awoke to a rustling noises, and the voice of someone that sounded a bit aggravated. When Kyoya opened his eyes, he saw a few colorful feathers floating in his direction. When he peered around the corner to see one of the younger students of the house swimming in a pile of rainbow-colored feathers.

Kyoya stood there, aiming his death-glare at the poor girl, wordlessly expressing his inquiry as to what was going on.

Anise gave one last shake of her wand at the stubborn feathers, before letting out a soft sigh and turning around... Only to freeze. How long had the older student been standing there? Anise gave him a nervous smile, practically shrinking under that heated glare.

"Um... I can explain this, really!" she said, brushing the feathers off her clothes. "I was just doing my homework and... accidentally experimented with a few spells..."

Ataru went down to the Common Room. It was Saturday, so he hoped to avoid having to wake up Kyoya. The couch or a random corner work just as well as a bed. Apparently, Ataru was the only one able to face his wrath. At least that’s what his other housemates always told him.

“What the hell?” Ataru exclaimed as he noticed brightly colored feathers filling the Common Room. He soon noticed Kyoya giving a death-glare to one of the brats. He rushed to put himself between the young girl and danger.

“Run for your life, kid! You just brought doom on yourself!” Ataru exclaimed.

Anise had been doing just fine explaining by herself, and suddenly a weird guy just planted himself in front of her. What the hell? "Hey! I'm not a kid, and I can take care of myself, you know!" she replied back, giving him one of her own glares.

Of course, all the bright feathers piled up on her hair probably didn't help with her intimidation any.

He nudged his glasses up the bridge of his nose with his finger.

"Really, I--"

Before he knew it, there was Ataru, saving the poor underclassman from... him? Laughable, if anything.

Of course Ataru wanted to save the girl, even if she was being an ungrateful brat. Kyoya was dangerous when barely awake. Ataru knew this from experience.

"Maybe you could in most situations but...huh?"

Ataru started to respond to Anise, but he noticed that Kyoya seemed more rational than usual or at least amused. He hoped this wasn't the calm before the storm.
