WHO: Alyss Heart and Kyp Durron
LOCATION: Training fields outside
WEEK: 56
TIME: After classes on Friday
WHAT: Alyss finally got Kyp to agree to teach her swordings
RATING: Ummm, PG to PG-13.

The question that begged to be asked was why Alyss had remained so persistent in harassing Kyp Durron into practicing the sword with her. Truly, she could have done this on her own, or asked another. Or waited until she had gone home again. Something would not let her let go of this, however, and after all her instinct had let her to do, why would she insist on not listening to it now? Perhaps it was because there was a small, very small, part of the older man that reminded her of Dodge. The evils they carried were not the same, and perhaps it did not affect them the same, but they carried similar auras.

Besides that, Alyss truly didn't believe that any person who carried the regret of their sins with them could be evil.

The young woman shook her head to clear such thoughts. It was not his past that she was after, but his teachings. The way he carried himself, how he flicked around his glowing blade as though what was going on around them was nothing. There was not a lot that tended to impress the young queen, but his swordsmanship had. It was almost like watching a member of the Millinery in action. If she could learn from him... Perhaps she would grow to be stronger herself, and that was exactly the whole point of her stay at Hogwarts wasn't it?

Become stronger, learn more, be the ruler her people were longing for.

She sighed, brushing some dirt from her pants as she waited outside, clearly a little bit early for the practice she had hounded for. She could only hope that this would go well.

kyp durron, alyss heart
