MASQUERADE

Location: The Great Hall (if you take a thread anywhere else, CLEARLY MARK THE NEW PLACE IN THE SUBJECT LINE)
Day: 10
Time: Mid-day to evening / night
Warnings: PG-13 JUST TO BE SAFE
Things were prepared, professors notified, and everyone was getting ready for the big deal. Decorations for Halloween were scattered all across the Great Hall, screaming ghosts, flickering pumpkins - even some that were on fire. Anything the mind could imagine that had to do with All Hallow's Eve was there. The punch even had a tangy flavor and looked suspiciously like blood, though no one would be able to confirm this.
Each professor would be instructed to watch the students, the Heads of Houses in particular, and some would be asked to walk around outside the hall. The common rooms would be inspected every so often to ensure that a student didn't get any ideas.
A magicked DJ stood in one corner of the hall, playing all kinds of music, even some disco thrown in that everyone around would suspect the Headmaster for requesting. Other requests would be taken throughout the night and the music wouldn't end until late.
Despite all of this, the staff would be ready and willing to assist and keep the peace as much as possible, and even one or two of the ghosts could be convinced to help out. It would be a night to remember for all involved.
