Today I got my GCSE results, after a long time of waiting. They went as follows:-
Biology - A
Business Studies - A
Chemistry - A
D&T Food Technology - A
English - A*
English Lit. - A
Geography - A*
Mathematics - A
Physics - B
Religion - B
Spanish - B
I'm quite happy, especially as Dave got into Winstanley. I was scared for an hour or two he didn't get the grades, but he did, so all is good. I think I would have liked a * in Maths, especially as I'm wanting to do double maths, but hey, I did ok.
Since last time, I went on a holiday to Center Parcs and went to Sheffield to watch Everytime I Die, who were trés bonne. We then went to Loughborough, drunken, and slept at Tom's house after trying to leapfrog a springy road bollard and pissing in someone's front garden. It was fun.
On Tuesday we went to Bad Religion, ate hot sweets with Ben and Liz and ice cream. Ben's beard is back folks. Bad Religion were okay, but the drumming is well samey. They played about 5/6 songs I knew, fun.
Yesterday, after much bad planning, we ended up at the cinema watching The Island, which was a good film. It is actually so very very similar to Minority report, and a few of the other 'running fugitive' films you see so much of, but overall very enjoyable and I'd reccomend it.
Later today, I have to enroll at Winstanley.
After seeing I got A* in English and Geography, and only A in Maths, this has made me reconsider my post for doing Double Maths. However, I think I'm going to apply for Double Maths to start off with, as I've figured that Double Maths would be much harder to catch up with than the other two. So I'm going to enroll for Double Maths, Graphic Design and Chemistry, and if Double Maths and Graphic Design seem hard and unenjoyable then I have two to fall back on that I can definately do. And I think I'd like to do Law a bit also, but hey hey.
Bye kids.
