So scary
Well today I took the day off of work. I have slept almost all day, i did not sleep well last night. So here's what's going on.
Monday my dad went in for a routine colonoscopy (his doc wanted him to go because he just turned 50) They ended up finding a mass. they took a biopsy, but the doctor told them it didn't look too good to him. but there was a 50/50 chance it wasn't cancerous.
well i got a call yesterday afternoon from my mom urgently saying to call her. so i called back and got my dad, he told me they just got the biopsy report back and it is cancerous. they are going to talk to the surgeon tomorrow to find out how they are going to go about surgery and what the odds are.
so there's that but my concern is, my dad has kidney disease and is in kidney failure, will his kidneys be able to handle all of this? his immune system is really weak too so i'm afraid he's not going to be able to handle it. I'm so scared for him, and for my mom. i just hope it works out and they are able to get all of it out easyily and quickly so we won't have to worry about it. as i sit here i wounder what will happen and hope for the best.
