every book i pick up lately seems to be about America and its past. i dont know if its subconscious or just accidental. i read those books and try to catch every word in the hopes that it will make my trip to the US more meaningful. i want to recognise every town i pass and have a little link in my mind as to it's history. i dont want to be a blank

we'll have to stay in Jacksonville Florida but we're going to be travelling around quite a lot :)

i know i'm feeling what everyone previous to me felt when going to the states and its so cliche but i love it: I don't think my parents - both immigrants who became U.S. citizens a long time ago - have ever really stopped feeling that way when they pause to think about it. I hope everything turns out as well for you as it has for them :)
