Wallpapering fog
Do you ever feel like you're wallpapering fog?
One of the best Dilbert moments ever. If you haven't seen that strip... or don't identify with it, you have never lived cube-life. *sigh*
Yesterday was an absolute blast. Today was the hard, crushing, soul-stripping, demoralizing crash back down to the barren, charred land of reality.
Yesterday I spent a blissful day skiing with four friends and did a bar-tour of the mountain... have a beer, plan run to next bar, ski said run, repeat. It was so much fun and we laughed and talked and skiied while it snowed like crazy, and skiied with the sun on our faces, and did little 360 degree turns on the snow, and got stuck going backwards down the hill, and landed in the powder trying to link turns on a challenging mogul run, and it was great.
Today I'm at work. *sigh* Yesterday was way more fun. Except we missed one bar and another one was closed. So now we have to do it again sometime! :-P
I wish I could spend all my time doing fun stuff. I don't want to be 26 next week.
