HUG! HUG! HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG! non-awkward hugs are my favourite thing. comfortable hugs where they fit against each other lkshflhkf (i have many Big feelings about hugging; this dude once gave me a free hug in exchange for a donation and he was a very poor hugger i tell you he basically squeezed i just felt my boobs being crushed i had to stop myself from lecturing him on hugging because well he was a Stranger)
ANYWAY
first i was kindof confused as to just what souta (he's not shota he's souta why was i calling him shota) was saying when he said he calculated pitaro's decision, and when i got it - it was almost gobsmacking, actually. it was such a mature way of looking at it, and omg souta - i was feeling a little like ryo was a bit lifeless about the eyes but aaaaa the extent and nature of his pain was so palpable hfjgsgs even more so because i'd been thinking that souta really was weak, not because he's quiet or nice or apologetic but because, in the way that wakaba keeps having to bully him about (although i don't think she's 100% right either), he'll use that niceness as an excuse to keep the status quo and not have to take risks. but that's really refreshing, for the dude to have that kind of growth arc. when he went to see boss lady for hinata's sake (THAT GIRL *_________* CAN I BE HER WHEN I GROW UP), he didn't say much, he didn't make any brilliant or particularly sharp arguments to the hotshot lawyer, he just stated what he thought, simple as it was, because he thought he understood what mum might not realise and he had to say it, just in case.
WAKABA IS STILL MY HERO. although her 'proposal' was awesome, her accepting shindo's was a bit sudden in the course of things... but damn if i don't love her anyway. even though she's a bit petty sometimes where souta's concerned and i kinda want to tell her to stop kicking the puppy when it is blindingly obvious that he likes her and makes sure to explain to her every time he even breathes the same air as a girl... but omg then they do something all lovely and istg i wanted to cheer at her speech to souta about pitaro - and even he had to smile ldjsfhjksdgkjdsfg
