Painting
I went to the hardware store this morning and was on the verge of buying wall paint when I decided I knew nothing about paint. So I went home and got the same can of paint my brother used to paint his room and asked the associate at the store for another can. I returned home and with Clo's help, moved alot of stuff out of my room and started painting. I wasn't in any kind of hurry and wanted it too look uniform and even. My walls were horribly scarred from God knows what. One gallon did 2 walls and a little more. I decided I may as well use all of the paint since it would harden anyway in storage. No need to waste it. It didn't take long for it to dry either and the fumes were minimal. Thank goodness because I wasn't looking forward to sleeping in the living room.
A friend of mine called while I was in the midst of painting. She suggested I do an accent wall. I never considered that before but now that she mentions it, it seems to be the perfect idea to bring some personality to my room. I know the exact color I want too and which wall. the only issue is I have to get rid of my armoire sooner rather than later. So I'm going to so some research on this and hope that an orange accent wall is a good idea as far as for a bedroom. Different colors have different implications on everything, especially living spaces.
