Neighbor is leaving soon
I've never been one to go to a neighbors house and chitchat. That's mama, daddy's and my brothers job. Just recently one of our neighbors came back from overseas about 3-4 months ago. On Christmas day, Daddy offered him some of our Christmas dinner and they talked. I've only seen him a couple of times and he seems to be just like me: Avoid eye contact with neighbors. Probably because there isn't alot of emotion spent in any one area because of the possiblity of being relocated contastantly. Come to find out, he is getting ready to PCS to Colorado Springs, Co! I used to live there. My daddy was telling him all the perks and such about the area. But who knows how much the area has changed since we've lived there. Colorado Springs is high above sea level. Athletes train there because of the thinner air. Therefore, when they come down to sea level, they have a slight advantage: their bodies are able to use oxygen more efficiently. It's kind of sad that our neighbor is leaving so soon though. Soon enough, we'll have a new neighbor. I wonder who they'll be. Houses tend to stay occupied in this area. I just hope they don't throw loud partys like my neighbors across the street tend to. I like my sleep on the weekend.
