Where are we going to put all these people?

I've been on an Extreme Engineering marathon and this is just one proposed design in the future of Tokyo Japan. It's a city within a Pyramid. It looks so cool! And if anyone can do it, the Japanese can. What is that saying? The best innovations come out of necesity? Tokyo Japan has alot of people crammed within the city limits. Eventually, they're going to have to expand somewhere. They are caught between Mount Fuji and the Ocean. Apparently the mountains aren't appealing so lets just build a city on Tokyo Bay. I wonder if a New Yorker could handle the crowdedness that is Tokyo...



This is another proposed design for Tokyo. In both of these designs, the necesarry things needed for life will be located within the structure!! Oh my!! So exciting. I don't expect I'll ever see these designs completed in my lifetime but oh how innovative the human mind is.
