Um, I can't comprehend this whole 'don't like cake' thing. I'm sure it's because you've never had a REAL cake. A real, English style, tea room cake. Homemade cake...heavenly..
Not all that gross chocolately, sweet, fluffy crap you get from safeway. YUCK. I can understand if you're refering to those. It makes me want to puke up barf.
And as for gold...you shut your mouth. I have to say, there once was a time where I probably would have agreed with you, but over the years it's gradually grown on me. People generally tend to associate gold with 'bling' obsessed rap stars and big hoochy earrings. But when I think gold, I think of Egypt and really fascinating jewelry. And India...they like, worship gold over there. It reminds me of gypsies.
It CAN be a beautiful colour to wear if it's mixed with the right colours (like dark red) and as long as whatever it is, is tastefully made. Gold chains and those gold dimond rings you see in jewelry shops are what put me off, usually. Can anyone say hideously ugly?
