Pretty Little Fingers Playing Piano in the Night
Last night I ended up on the phone with my friend Anne for about 3 1/2 hours. Heehee. We had a lot of catching up to do and even more discussing on top of that. Man I miss her and her husband. Rabbit and I have very few couples-friends in AZ and they're one of them. Lot of talking happened. LOT of talking.
Boy-o went bowling last night, bowled a 199 which is pretty good. I'm really proud of him. We leave for Vegas on Friday after work, then Saturday morning we're driving with his family to Anaheim. Saturday night is going to be spent in Downtown Disney, then Sunday and Monday are being spent in the two parks (and more downtown if we want). I'm kinda stoked. Haven't been since I was 14, never been with a spouse, much less their family. Disneyland was always a special family thing that we did. We went on all the rides, did all the little shops, you name it, we did it. Together. So many different memories from there... it's going to look different. It's going to feel different. *sigh* Wish it was my family going. Oh well. Maybe next time.
First final is in T-minus 3 hours 45 minutes and counting. Should be interesting. I'm not worrying. No point in worrying. Found out a friend of mine is pregnant and I'm super excited for her. That makes... 2 people who are prego, 1 who just had a baby. Maggie's having twin girls which is way cool :o) Not sure how things at the office will change while she's on maternity leave. They're planning on giving me a couple more responsibilities which is pretty nice. Next semester will be... interesting, to say the least. It's my last semester of undergrad. My LAST SEMESTER! SQUEEE!!!!!! I'm only 5 months away from my Bachelor's Degree! How cool is that? heh, once I'm done then Rabbit heads in to get his degree. Should be interesting, to say the least. Who all is going to be in town during Winter Break? ie, Dec 20th-Jan 14th? I'm out of town Dec 24-28th and work 8-5 starting January 5th (I think) so if anyone's game for hanging out, let me know. Wanting to see friends, family, the company of others.
