Oh so busy! School and work are pretty much filling my plate, but I'm still finding time to work on art projects. A&S is this weekend and none of my documentation is finished..... oy. Lorelei's scroll will be painted on tonight given I get home and get my homework done in a timely manner; there's always so much reading to be done!
AACK! Ren Faire is in a week! HOMG SO NOT PREPARED!!!!!! Frickadoodle. There's lots to be done and lots more to be prepared for. *sigh* I have absolutely no idea what to expect at Faire this year; seems like lots of things are a-changing. We'll see what happens I guess. At least the Whiskey Bards will be there again so I'll get to hang out with them for a little bit. I miss my friends in Vega. Hell, I miss my friends in general. I haven't hung out with friends in a long time. Maybe when Faire's over I'll throw a big backyard barbecue and invite everyone to come out and play. That sounds like a good idea, actually. Just invited the world and tell them to bring side dishes and I'll supply the meat. Mmmmm..... steak..... tonight I'm making raviolis, though. But yeah, barbecue once the dust has settled some. I've just been going insane.
Looking at pretty dresses amidst my work... there's some cool stuff out there. Seriously. Except that I worry about shopping online because of my size and how weird measurements can be. I really need to get back into an exercise regime. I've blown that off way too long. Barbara is looking into joing LA Fitness and I think I might join with her so we can be gym buddies :o) I like having a gym buddy, it really helps keep you motivated. Hrmm.... we'll see what happens.
Boy's doing awesome as usual. Nothing new to report there. heehee He makes me so happy! I was reading online on a blogring that I'm in about girls who's boyfriends don't really care and won't offer an opinion unless they're ripping their hair out in frustration. Yeah, Rabbit does that, but not hardly as much as he used to. I like that we can talk, even if it means I'm a little teary-eyed. I get weepy, so sue me.
Ugh, speaking of weepy I had to have my yearly Dr. Appt. Oy. Those appts SUCK I tell you. Cold metal and cold room. Blechy. BUT at least I got my perscription refill; that's always the bonus to going. Still, though, why must it be so uncomfortable? At least the nurse practicioner was nice, explaining what she was doing and why. I like it better when they do that. Least favorite doctor's visit, but it's probably the most important one to get done.
So busy happy dance. Midterms are coming.... here comes the madness again!
