To Bed at 1am, To Rise at 5am
Yeah, tourney last night kicked a$$ like whoa. We had such a huge turnout! It made me really happy. I'm hoping it's going to keep going like this, 'cause it was really nice to see people out and have a full field of fighters again. Yay for the queen making it out for an event and people coming to see her. Really makes me smile.
Bought parchment and Vellum Bristol Board but I'm working with the parchment. I'm thinking I might mount it onto the Bristol Board if it's too flimsy (which it kinda is). I have to find a camera since mine is currently lost in my mom's house so that I can take pictures of the stages of this scroll. I'm trying to figure out what to do for the miniature, but I just can't find a picture that pleases me yet. He's a hard person to figure stuff out for, that one. But I at least have the layout for the scroll. Fingers crossed it's done by Ren Faire so I can try again for a MW. I'm so damn nervous, but I know i have to just get back up on the bandwagon. Oy.
Lots going on. Thank goodness for school going back into session on Monday. I need my schedule back; I'm losing my mind with not having things to do besides my crazy-insane job. I like things organized. And I like having my school schedule. 16 units and 30 hours of work. I'm going to make it this time. No drops for me. Again, fingers crossed.
EEeeeeeeep, and now it's back to work I go. I'm taking a nap next break and scheduling an appointment with Career Services the break after, so nothing more today other than work. But I'm getting back into ECS, which makes my heart truly sing. Yay for muses to keep you sane in the madness.
