What for!
Oh my goodness! Has it been a week already! I feel like I'm still twirling in mad circles of homework---oh wait...I am?! J/k. I'm not really twirling...though maybe that WOULD be good for me? I've spent so much time doing school work this week it is sickening. Yeah, I went dancing a couple times and have had a few long conversations, but those are overshadowed by the 14 to 16 hours of schoolwork per day. I have to get on top of this! I AM going to succeed! There is no doubt about it! I HAVE to succeed! There are several thousands of babies and toddlers dying every day because they aren't receiving basic medical care and nourishment! They need someone to sing their song and sit in their corner, and every day that I'm not there, their cries go unheard. Somewhere, every moment, some child is dying because of something I could help treat. I can't save the world. But I can help a few. [Oh, God I want to help the few! I want to bind up their wounds and heal their broken hearts! They need you as much as I do! Turn your face upon the fatherless, the underprivileged, the uneducated, the hopless, the helpless, the torn, the broken, and the widow! Take me to where they are! Take me to where they need the most help! Prepare me for the journey! Help me to succeed here and all along the way! Guide me in truth, send me forth in love! Purify my heart, my lips, my life and make me sanctified for your purposes! Soften my heart to their pain, turn my ears to their cry. Use me to sound a beacon of hope and justice to those who know not the taste of freedom! Yea Lord! It's a hot battle for my heart! The devil thrusts and parries, but You O Lord protect me! You are a shield about me! You are my refuge! You are my Tower in times of need and of plenty! Take my Gold, my incince, and myrrh, may they be acceptable in your sight O Soverign Creator! Use my service to bring honor and glory to your Holy Name! Discipline me as a son, but keep me in the truth! Grant me knowledge and bestow upon your servant Wisdom beyond measure. Make my path sure and keep my feel from stumbling! Give me strenght for the road ahead and quench my hunger and thirst with Your living water that gives life eternally! Set before me the splendor of your majesty, fix my eyes on your wondrous grace! Guide me in peace, set me free from dispair! Outfit me in your armor and train me for battle! Use me to wage your war! Let me advance your Kingdom amongst lands of the dying, helpless, and hopless! Make me a hearold of salvation! Use me to stir a great and wondrous fire of life in a people forgotten by the world! Use mt to do great things! Help me to be humble and be the servant of the least. Keep pride and sin from crouching at my door! Rid them from my presence! Scatter them to the winds, never to be seen again! Take my life and hold it in the palm of your Hand O God! I long for your righteousness. I Wait confident expectation for your return! Look upon us and do not forget us in our suffering! May Your name be proclaimed forever more in heaven above and in earth below! You alone are Great, and mighty, and Awe-inspiring, and holy, and just! Reign on High Forever More!]
