So those flowers that I posted about last week seem to be drawing ants. I came home tonight and looked at them and saw ants crawling over them, I guess the ants serve to pollinate the flowers as opposed to bees or other insects....it was quite fascinating to watch. And now, as I promised before, a much better picture of those flowers:
Isn't it beautiful! I've seen flowers quite like these! You can click on the image to see a larger view. Edit: Thanks to a Google image search, I now know the plant is Hoya Carnosa, common name is Wax Plant (or Hoya fungii, it may be harder to nail down the specific species)
And as I looked closer, I also saw a lizard sitting on the side of the pot:
It was quite a pleasant thing to come home and watch. :o)
In other news, while perusing my f-list, I saw a comment where someone was talking about how there was a study that found that people deal with divorce better than they deal with a hard drive failure! Somehow, that made me feel a bit better about how distraught I was when my hard drive failed. I'm not alone! There are other people out there who react just as badly, or worse, than I did!
