Eeeee!
So after giving it a few days, I poked called my Mom last night to see if she'd thought anymore about the cell phone situation since the last time we spoke. Of course, she hadn't, but my prodding got things into action because today, they placed the order for my iphone 4S!!! :D I was bouncing around all afternoon. I should have called Mom sooner about it, though. We waited too long, and now, so many other people have placed pre-orders, it looks like it won't be shipped out until the end of October. And since the family plan has my parents address on the account, that's where the phone is being shipped. So then my parents will have to ship it to me once they get it, which will make it an even longer wait. Oh well. Its the price I pay for staying on the family plan with my parents.
Now, I have to decide what case to get for it. Because, after spending $200 on a phone (well, technically $150 with the upgrade discount), I am definitely going to be putting it in a protective cover. I was intrigued by the Battlestar Galactica case that was mentioned on battlestar_blog the other day. Then I started exploring Red Bubble and saw loads of other really cool iphone case designs. There are also some cool tardis cases (1, 2), some cute cat inspired cases (1, 2), and I love the textured look on this case. Its gonna be a tough choice. And I may just end up getting a plain case off of Amazon, because the cases on that site seem pretty expensive. If I do get one of those cool cases, I'll only be getting ONE. Decisions...decisions.
