青空の下、キミのとなり

Love the lighting, and color combination that they use for the PV

Finally! After awhile, Arashi is blessing us with a single which title song I like, coupling songs that I adore, a beautiful PV that I like and easily close one eye on them just standing there looking, well, their usual cool self (the staff kept on telling them that they look too cool for this PV in the making though LOL) and off course, the making and Uraaratalk bonus. FINALLY!!! *dancing around the end of the rainbow with the leprechauns* Johnny's, this is what an Arashi single should be, full of goodies & rainbows!
Let's talk about the songs first. Though I like the title song, but Dandelion is my fave! Followed by Nandodatte, Kono Te no Hira ni, and as always, the title song come last LOL. This has been the case for me ever since Bittersweet, with the exception of GUTS. I feel that they're trying out new sounds again. We have the laid back, flirty Dandelion (gosh, I want to see this on live performance, they can just do it with casual clothes and just sit and sing or better yet, jamming with the band, and it'll look pretty with this song), and does Aiba-chan get better in this single? Matsujun sounds better in this single here as well. This adds on to happiness when listening to the songs XD. Nandodatte sounds more like a band song than a boyband song and the intro reminds me of Spiral (somehow) and Rock Tonight (but in the more modern style). This is one of the perk me up song, stable beats, cheerful and uplifting lyrics, as usual. How about Kono Te no Hira ni? It's actually sounds like what Sho-chan will sing for his solo, but only at the beginning, and then it takes a 360 degree turn on the chorus part, overall it's something new but not super new from Arashi, you'll feel the familiarity, but at the same sound is... different. I find this is what appeals from this song. Lastly the title song (I keep on calling it title song because the title is long LOL). I don't really like it when I listen the preview on Aiba-chan's drama trailer, but I'm glad that I waited until I listen to the whole song. Overall song is all right and it's easy to listen to, typical for Arashi song, but why this one is the last is that I find that there're too many elements in the song and on top of it they have to add on the grand effect towards the end, probably because it's a drama theme song (?). The more I hear the more elements I find, partly make the song interesting, but at the same time it becomes a complicated song XD.

Now, let's talk about the uraaratalk. Now they change the secret talk to uraaratalk as it's not so 'secret' anymore LOL. For fans, this part is something that we look forward to. Arashi is always interesting & fun to listen to when left alone together with mikes. This time they were given for them to answer. Compare to the older secret talk session, the atmosphere and the way the talk is carried on, doesn't change much, which is why Arashi is so appealing. They're consistent, they've grown up and we can tell that from how they do the discussion and their answers, but the personality doesn't change, consistent! One of those that left deep impression on me is when Sho-chan mention that he feels that he gets to see himself on billboard with this line of job and that makes him feel that 'ah I'm an idol' and also he likes to take a selfie of him and his billboard whenever he can LOL. So dorky and at the same time, it gives us the vibe that they do have feelings too, as humans, not gods. Another one is Ohno's remark on what does work means, he's working because he still don't have everything (this came out after being pressured to answer the question by the rest LOL). It's just... Ohno LOL. Lots of tidbits and we get to see glimpse of their train of thoughts. They should do this more often, that's the main message that Johnny's must get :p.

And finally, we have the PV! The beautiful PV with the gloomy choise of colors but it doesn't subdue the prettines by frame. Since this is for Aiba-chan's drama, he has more airtime and he's in the middle XD. It's been ages that they have location shooting for a PV (and not CG-ed) and it's refreshing.

They do the walking from front and the back.

Love the color in this shot and Aiba-chan being in the center means he'll be shot to the left and to the right. This concept is very apparent in this part.

Prettiness!!!!

BBQ scene with no beer??? Or are those mugs beer? LOL

Can't wait for the M-Station performance! The performance on VSA was gorgeous, the contrast between the costume and the stage was just mesmerizing.
