Exciting news!
My name, which has previously appeared on the orchestra roster just for show, is now for real! I'm actually IN orchestra this semester. So is Maia, THANK GOODNESS, we can hide in Jodi's shadow together. However, Mrs. Smith told me that she wants me to play piccolo too... in her words, she's "throwing me into the lions den because I have to learn confidence sometime". Either way, whoohoo!
I also stayed in the same spot for symphonic band...but...because of the extra flutes that they added, I get to play first part!
Classes are going to be tough this semester. I only have 16 credits now, and all my classes are music classes. I think that I'll still be keeping busy. History looks like a ton of work, and so does theory and aural comp as usual. But this is the last semester...if we can just get through... then I'll be done with aural comp forever! It will be amazing.
