Book poll
My book group has a complicated system for picking books. Each person picks five and submits them to the group. Everyone votes for their favorite, and the book with the most votes is chosen. The upside to this system is that everyone gets to pick a book now and then; the downside is that we have to come up with five books. Last year I could only manage three.
I mention this because it's my turn to pick. Tonight I ransacked my shelves for five books I haven't read that aren't all classics. (My library is sadly lacking in current fiction.) I was able to come up with some feasible choices, and because I think polls are fun, I'd like to know which one you'd pick.

I wanted to suggest I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith, but I've already read it, and I'm trying to read something new every month. I used to read new fiction all the time; now I have trouble finishing things. Life is tough when you suffer from late-onset ADD. People just don't understand the struggle.
And now that I've picked my books and posted my poll, I'm going to watch the Keira Knightly Pride and Prejudice. Will she replace Jennifer Ehle as my favorite Elizabeth? Stay tuned...
