My Playstation 3 came in the mail about a week ago. I really like that game, Little Big Planet! It has an option where you can play online, and I have been playing with people all over the world. Since I have a European copy, I think I mostly play with people from Europe. Its really cool! My PS3 also came with this came called, Call of Duty. But I'm not really into shooter type games so I went on craigslist and found someone that is gonna trade me it for Street Fighter 4 tomorrow. [EDIT: Months later though, I ended up getting really into this game and re-bought it and MW2, lol]. I'm really excited! The last few days, I have mostly been playing Tomba though. Tomba is actually a PS-one game, but I have been having a fun time playing it! I have gotten the farthest on it than I have in over ten years!!!

A day before my PS3 came in the mail, something else came in the mail for me. When I got it, I thought that maybe it was the free game that was being included with the PS3. But when I opened it up, I pulled out a Zelda song book. My jaw dropped, and before even sifting through the package popcorn to see what else the box held, I ran to the first person I saw. "It's an Ocarina!!!!" I exclaimed excitedly to my Mom. My Mom then told me it was a surprise late-birthday gift from Crystal. Cheerfully sifting through the popcorn, I pull out a small box. Inside was a beautiful Tenor-C St. Louis Ocarina. The instrument has a pretty blue shiny coat on its clay. So far, I haven't learned any Zelda songs (they are too advanced), but I'm working on the lesson book that came with the Ocarina so I can get better. I have learned how to play the Happy Birthday song though!

In other news, I'll be getting a car soon! As you all may know, my Dad is helping me buy my first car. I'm really, really grateful to him for this. Even though I have told him that I'm okay with driving an older, used car, he is pretty dead set on getting me a new one. We have been looking at deals and cheaper cars in the paper every week. Right now, we're leaning towards either a new Ford Focus, or a Toyota Yaris. But it depends which is cheaper. We are hoping to buy a car in about a week or two.

As for jobs...no one has called me back! I have applied to over 15 places. But, I think I'm going to give job hunting a rest and wait until I have a car before I start looking for work again. Without a car, I'm kinda limited to jobs close to the house because I rely on family for transportation. But once I have a car, I can venture out into other areas. Also, school starts in only a few weeks, and by the time I actually start working (after interview, paperwork, orientation) I'll have to change my availability anyways. It may look bad for me to get hired on the grounds of open availability and then change to limited availability when I start working. Also, my school schedule is definitely going to change (I plan to make schedule changes) so I don't really know what hours I can work. So I think it is best to wait for now. BUt, I do plan to work from now on. I have bills that I need to pay. Especially with having a car, I can't expect my parents to give me gas money! Hopefully I'll have better luck finding a job in a few weeks!

There hasn't been much else going on really. As boring as the days have been, I'm kinda enjoying them. In only a few weeks, my life is going to get hectic again with school (especially the difficult Chemistry class!) and working. So I think of these last few weeks as a vacation! =)

Sorry for such a long post, I haven't posted in awhile lol.
