On Thursday morning, the one and only pregnant mare at the west side farm had her baby! She was as big as a house, so I'm sure she was relieved to get rid of the weight, haha. I had quite the adventure tonight, involving a train, a horse, a hyperextended leg, an ambulance, and a downed power line. Is the solstice bad luck or something? Because everything that could go wrong did tonight. Since it's a horse story, it's over in bananaheads; add it to your watch list (if you haven't already) for this and other crazy tales.

Today I finished my last university class ever! It was not bittersweet, as some might expect; it was just bitter, because I had to write an in-class final that I didn't have much time to study for -- what with a research paper due on Tuesday and having to work on my video project yesterday. Another eventful week for me. On Monday we had an unexpected surprise at the farm... a mare who was due at the end of May had her foal a month early! It's a little bay filly with no white on her at all. Cute as a button and friendly to boot.
