Today was pretty good. I made my first actual sale (though it was only $99.99), had another customer put a ring on layaway and she's going to pick it up on Wednesday (I don't get credit for the sale until it's picked up), and I had another customer who looked at a bracelet, wants to buy the bracelet, but had to wait til tomorrow cuz he has to get cash out of the bank or something and I told him about financing but first I think he's under 18 and second his dad didn't think it was necessary to put such a small amount on credit and they didn't feel like layaway was necessary either since there were three other bracelets just like it and they're coming back tomorrow. Wow that was a very long run-on sentence and for that I am sorry. I want to sell something big. Not big like the $17,000 2-carat princess cut yellow gold solitaire, but something big like the $4400 round brilliant 1.5-carat white gold Diamond Masterpiece. That would get me approximately $40 in spiff money, quite possibly the high sales person for the day (another $10), and if I were to sell the Extended Care Plan and ring it up, that would be anothr $3. That would be fucking awesome. At this point, it would be luck that I would make a sale like that since I'm just learning but it would still be fucking awesome.
So that was pretty much my day. And now I'm going to go watch Bones. Because Booth may or may not be alive and I'm really worried.
