Like the fic before this I am completely in love.

The FFII world is one of the most interesting in my mind, as there is so much potential for amazing story-telling, which is just what you've done here. Leon is such a mystery, and having a fic from his point of view and showing off his mind and worldview is amazing. From the details about Palamecia he reveals, to his obsession with Hilda (and the reasons for it) he is an amazingly complex and fun character to read.

Your Hilda is amazing as well. Her incredible will, even as she is thrust into what seems to be unending despair, is shown so amazingly- and not just through dialogue, but from all the descriptions of her dress, her hair, and the her body movements...it was an amazing study of the character, and as I was reading I really "felt" Leon and saw her as this brightness that contrasted the drab darkness of the dungeons.

I also love that you made an amazing fic about two characters who barely interacted, and made it complex and exciting. You did the same with Maria and Minwu and I honestly can say that you are probably one of the best writers I have come across. I really hope to see more FFII fic from you, because I think that as it stands now, you totally have a monopoly on this universe.
