"Princes Of The Universe" (1/1)

I barely squeaked in--apparently, my day was the fifth, not the sixth, something I rediscovered about two hours ago.

Sorry for posting so late in the evening, and possibly infringing on someone else's day.

I've gotta start marking due dates on a calendar . . . I've gotta get a calendar. . .

I enjoyed that a lot. Too many great lines to quote, but I did love Xander's initial reaction to seeing the sword and his insistence that he was not going to sleep with Adam.

I don't really know Highlander (apart from the original film and the xovers I've read) so I can't really comment on Adam's characterisation, other than to say that the world weariness of someone who'd lived that long shone out. And Xander - well he was just terrific, just the right combination of foolhardiness, self preservation, bravery and sheer lunatic that we know and love.

I'm off to read The Immortal 'verse now - you've got me hooked *g*

Hee! The shock, then the laughter, because there's something funny about a guy running around Seattle with a friggin sword, lol.

Thank you--if I got nothing else right, I wanted Adam's word-weariness and age. He's been around the block more times than he can count, and nothing impresses him anymore. Until he met Xander, he thought he'd seen it all, felt it all.
