I am currently on the prowl for a nice pillowcase for a pillow that somebody gave me as a gift before. I recently came across it and I thought that it would go well with the chair I bought last month.
After checking out Landmark, Rustans and various shops, I've yet to find a print I like. Naturally, I turned to the internet for inspiration. It only makes me realize how limited stuff are here.
Here are some prints I like:
I love this flower print. I'm inclined to organic prints.
When you say coral, red-orange automatically comes to mind. Either one of these will be fine with me. The blue one will go along the color scheme of my room while the red will provide a pop of color.
Speaking of coral, I like anything coral. I think this silver tray is adorable.
These prints reminds me of a dandelion seed avatar I use every so often for my MSN which in turn reminds me of a summer I spent in Baguio when I was a kid. There were dandelions at the garden of the house we stayed in and I enjoyed blowing into these dandelion to release their seeds.
More organic prints such as flowers and trees.
These bird prints are also cute.
This print reminds me of the pagodas that can be found at the temple grounds in Kyoto. If ever I do decide to frame and put up the
Great Wave off Kanagawa ukiyo-e print I bought in Japan then this would go well with it.
Next stop is SM. Their slogan is 'we've got it all for you' and I hope they do.
Update
I went to SM last weekend and though I didn't see a pillowcase that I really really loved, I found one na pwede na. It was different and slightly more edgy than the common and sometimes tacky selection that they had in SM. Plus since it was the last stock I only got it for P34.50. I would have wanted the print to be dark blue but I guess this turquoise color will do (my phone camera couldn't capture the exact color).
The print looks like a section of a shell and it reminds me of the nautilus fossil I saw in London's Natural History Museum.
