Milestones and Rewards
First and foremost, happy 4th anniversary to me. I missed my yearly tradition of having starbucks on my work anniversary since I attended the wedding of a friend last saturday.
Secondly, I bought myself the chair I've been obsessing over. I found it in Dimensione about a month ago and I had to delay buying it because it was expensive. I tried looking for a cheaper alternative but I sort of had a feeling that I would eventually buy that chair. Over the weekend I went ahead and bought it.
Lastly, the reason I was able to buy that chair sooner than expected was because I got promoted. I am really really blessed because I'm the only person who got promoted in my level. There are a lot of really good people here and I know that the competition must have been tough yet the promotion fell on my lap. All in all there were only 6 people who got promoted in a department of about 150 individuals.
