My boy has done it again. :) Rafa has won the Australian Open finals versus Roger Federer tonight. I'm thrilled that he now has a hardcourt Grand Slam to add to his Roland Garros (clay), Wimbledon (grass) as well as to his Olympic Gold Medal.
I feel for Roger though. He couldn't stop bawling during the awarding ceremony. He was really disappointed that he would have to delay his dreams of equaling and eventually surpassing Sampras' 14 Grand Slam titles. :(
But Rafa deserves this. He was all heart.
