recommendations
A friend recommends Dean Wareham's book Black Postcards, but only to superfans, it seems:
I just finished Dean's book. Actually, it's pretty
depressing! Unless you're a supermajor Galaxie 500
and/or Luna fan, I'm not recommending it.
At least his music makes me feel better. Among the
faves:

BEWITCHED ('94)/Luna
PENTHOUSE ('95)/Luna
"Lovedust" ('02)/Luna
L'AVVENTURA ('03)/Britta & Dean
I saw Luna during their last tour, in winter 2004/5. Very good show.
A lover points out that the new documentary Beautiful Losers looks interesting. And it does!

It's Asia Argento, in the new movie Boarding Gate.
Probably won't see the movie after reading the review in The New Yorker. I mean, it's not like i see that many movies anyway. I guess this pic ranks as what
restoman would call "eye candy." Actually, the Dean Wareham pic does too. Nice looking man.
