SOME ONE SHOOT ME!!!!
OMG, I think I'm goin to puke. Several months ago I bid on Steelers tickets for DH (HUGE FAN) and we paid way too much for them. We've been looking forward to going to the game tomorrow. Last night we were packing and I came in here to get the tickets AND I CAN'T FIND THEM!!!! I've torn through EVERY THING!!!! They were in a Fed-Ex envelope and I thought I knew exactly what box they were in. My desk is a mess, but I always can find stuff on it right away. We tore it apart. We've looked through every thing 10 times. Nothing. Can't find the envelope any where. I called a former coworker of mine last night in hopes that maybe by some weird chance I accidentally picked them up with some old work files I returned a couple weeks ago, but then I couldn't get ahold of any one that had the security code for the office so we could go look. We needed to leave about 6 a.m. (it's a 6 hour drive), so there's no way for me to get a hold of any one else at this point. Hell, it was 11:00 at night by the time I got a hold of C last night. Even if I get a hold of some one this morning, by the time we get in and get the tickets it will be too late to go. I know Tim won't want to drive 6 hours to get there at half time.
I know Tim's mad, but he's not yelling at me... which almost makes it worse. I wish he'd just rip me a new one, but instead he's just depressed saying there isn't any thing we can do. I offered to buy new tickets when we got there out of "my" money, but he says we couldn't afford it the first time so we REALLY can't afford it this time. I just don't know what to do. I'm so beside myself right now and so angry with myself. Today is going to be a LONG day.
