Okay, I have a good story for all the infertile turtles in the world. You know how we get an over abundance of "suggestions" on getting pregnant. Well, today I heard a new one and it has to be an instant classic. We were at the ND tailgate with little T. Every one thought he was adorable and these 2 old men start telling me these stories about how one of their daughters tried and tried and when she finally gave up, she got PG. No biggie. Heard that a million times. The other guy (not to be out done) starts telling a story about his daughter. Here it goes...
"Ann (can't remember her name, but doesn't matter) had tried getting pregnant as soon as she got married. After 10 years of trying every thing, she finally gave up. And she tried it all... she had eggs put in her, went to the doctor 2-3 times a week, the whole nine yards (imagine a NY accent and that last sentence is even funnier). Then one day she was walking in "Loves", that's a garden center by us. Well, she was walking through and slipped on some spilled fertilizer. Landed right there on the granuals. Sure enough, 2 days later she was pregnant!!! Can you believe that?? I told her she should contact Scott's and let them know. What a story, huh!?"
So, there you have it... next time you hear of some one having trouble TTC (or you have trouble TTC), just go out and get a bag of Scott's fertilizer. Take a fall on it, and PRESTO!
