Prince Bambi's TLC.
I spent extra time today repairing my Playgro Bambi. I feel sad he was so roughly handled before he became mine, his fur is in such bad shape and he has those stress point tears forming on his neck and front legs. I carefully repaired all the little unravelling spots, then reshaped his face with some extra polyfil. I also decided to stiffen up his neck with more fill...normally I allow his neck to remain completely void of polyfil but I discovered the weight of his head causes stress on the empty fabric. So it had to be repaired.
He also got brushed, and I did begin to comb his fur but stopped when an alarming amount of shed came out. I think the ends of his fur are just too matted to be combed. :(
On a side note, my Aunt Fran's funeral is this Friday. I'm feeling a huge amount of stress worrying about this event.
