I was soooo happy and completely surprised to see a good size Bambi plush (and one I've never seen before!) at Target. He is rather derpy looking, has a chubby face but he is made of the longer pile microfiber that I love! Oscar was so sweet to buy him for me. I named him Bizarro Bambi (Seinfeld reference). I was very unhappy to read People's March 28th issue and find an article comparing Bambi's sweet innocent appealing nature to Kim Kardashian. Bambi should never be grouped with a whorish celebutante socialite. You messed up, People. For shame.

I'm having a lovely deer filled evening tonight, I repaired two broken deer figurines and then hopped into bed with Bambi and Prince Scar for a cuddle and some Jackass 2 with Oscar. :) Later I want to make Rieke a necklace. In other deer related news, I'm awaiting the arrival of my Playmobil doe and fawn.

Yay!

Oscar took Prince Scar and I to the local park...where we plugged my Fire into the car stereo and watched Bambi 2 as the sun set and the stars came out. It was nothing short of magical. :3

I finished Salten's "Fifteen Rabbits" tonight. It was a tough book to read....very sad. And in it I learned a few things about Bambi's family I wasn't ready to know yet....because yes, the books all tie in together. The story ended with a hopeful, beautiful scene, which made the whole emotional ordeal worth it to me. I also enjoyed learning more ( Read more... )

I literally almost killed myself making the bed...I got dizzy and short of breath and gave myself an irregular heartbeat and had to lie down for a bit. ._. Being this fat is going to kill me.
